MARKET PULSE The VN-Index closed the trading session forming a "Black Candle" trading pattern. Trading volume increased and was above the 20-day average. A price decrease with increasing trading volume is not positive information at this time. Key points to note: (i) Selling pressure remains in the securities and real estate groups, which are highly valued and perhaps not yet sufficiently discounted. Of course, since the securities industry is inherently a leading industry, the index often experiences pessimistic sentiment, and thus investors tend to be cautious in trading. (ii) The market is still above the 1,190-point support zone. The banking group, after testing a double-bottom pattern, showed a hammer candlestick.
