[Market News 12/06/2024] FOREIGN INVESTORS APPROACHING A HISTORICAL NET-SELLING MILESTONE ?

Some important notes:

– The current trading seems similar to the VN-Index phase in the 1,130 region in December 2023 when the index struggled to break resistance and trading volume narrowed. Selling pressure was not too strong on the downside, and liquidity started to increase when the market broke resistance. Do we currently have a pattern where history can be expected to repeat?

– Yesterday’s session saw the market attempting a breakout led by the securities group, but the real estate group, especially the VINCOM family, and the food group pulled the index down.

– It’s too early to conclude, but the current trading seems to be repeating the pattern at the 1,250 point mark, and perhaps we will soon have a breakout session in the next 1-2 sessions. Of course, as we have shared before, resistance remains resistance until it is broken, so despite positive thoughts, we should still trade cautiously.

– Index forecast for June 12, 2024: Statistics show the index decreased with the closing price higher than the opening price.
