SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS IN THE REPORT
The VN-Index closed the session forming a “Long White Candle” pattern – a strong bullish candle.
However, trading volume declined and remained below the 20-day average, indicating that the rally lacked volume support, making this a not-too-bullish signal overall.
Key highlights:
(i) Foreign investors continued to be net sellers, with total net outflows of VND 514 billion across all three exchanges.

(ii) The VN-Index recorded a strong and unexpected rally, with narrow supply despite modest buying pressure, helping the index rebound quickly after nearly touching the MA(20) dynamic support and correcting more than 5%.
Several stocks near MA(20) or MA(50) held firm and bounced back, notably MWG, real estate tickers, and SSI in the securities group, creating positive spillover effects.
However, the sharp recovery amid weak liquidity suggests that the move might be a short-term technical rebound rather than the start of a sustained uptrend.
The market appears to be stabilizing around the MA(20) area, awaiting confirmation of genuine capital inflows.
