SUMMARY OF SOME KEY POINTS IN THE REPORT
The disconnection of VND and the potential for trading to be halted longer than expected could affect investor sentiment. Currently, there are many speculations surrounding this event, and regardless of the outcome, many investors will feel insecure, and short-term selling solutions may occur. Furthermore, if VND temporarily halts trading longer than expected, then when VND reconnects, many investors with accounts at this securities company may choose to sell shares to transfer their accounts to other securities companies. Both of these lines of thought will lead to an increase in short-term supply in the market, and correction pressure may emerge. However, in our view, this correction will not last too long, and the support level of 1,200 points is still considered a strong support zone in the short term.
Small-cap stocks may be the destination for capital flows in the short term; however, the upward momentum of this group is unlikely to help the index gain points.
