BUY RECOMMENDATION VCG - CONTINUED EXPLOSION IN Q3
We recommend BUYING shares of VCG with the following arguments:
- Q1/2025 is a temporary slowdown period for VCG's profit, however, we believe that the construction foundation is solid, financial costs are controlled, and Vinaconex has much room to break through in the following quarters.
- Large public investment backlog, ensuring stable revenue: 2025 is the peak period for public investment disbursement (planned ~795,000 billion VND), helping projects such as the North-South Expressway, Ring Road 3, Long Thanh... accelerate progress, thereby contributing to a breakthrough in construction revenue.
- VCR divestment is a "financial leverage" that helps brighten VCG's profit picture in 2025, especially in the context of needing more cash flow for key projects; VCG earned 3,682 billion VND in profit from this deal.
