MARKET PULSE The VN-Index closed the trading session forming a "Black Candle" trading pattern. Trading volume decreased and was lower than the 20-day average. A price decrease with decreasing volume at a strong support area is a good sign. Key points to note: (i) The VN-Index touched the support level of the sideways trading period in October 2022. (ii) RSI(14) decreased to the oversold region. (3) In July 2021, the VN-Index also had a similar correction series as currently, and the index bottomed out on the derivatives expiry date. This could repeat in tomorrow's session as the index also has derivatives expiry and is currently approaching the 1,319 point region (approximately 1-2 more strong down trading sessions). (ii) When the market declines sharply due to noise, we try to evaluate based on valuation. The current market P/E is about to fall to the 15 (TTM) price region and 13 if based on 2022 earnings. This indicates that the index is in an attractive valuation area for a potential return to investment. According to quantitative statistics, with today's pattern, in the next trading session, the VN-Index has a 50% probability of gaining points and an 84.16% probability of the closing price being higher than the opening price. Statistics show that the market will fluctuate between gains and losses in tomorrow's trading session. We believe that bottom-fishing demand will increase sharply in tomorrow's session. Support levels are 1,380 and 1,356 points. More time is needed to determine the trend, and despite many negatives being mentioned, the fact that the index is not falling is also a good sign for the market.
