MARKET PULSE The VN-Index closed trading forming a "Black Candle" trading pattern. Trading volume increased and was above the 20-day average. A price increase with decreasing trading volume is not a good sign. However, overall, today was a down day despite the index points increasing, as the breadth of declining prices was higher than that of rising prices. Key points to note: (i) The VN-Index is moving within an expanding triangle channel, and this pattern is approaching its final point. We have not seen a "Break out" yet. (ii) The breadth of correction for small-cap stocks increased, however, some stocks like JVC, SRA... started to be pushed up in price. (iii) STB, FPT continue their upward trend and may establish new stock highs, which is also a positive signal. We observe the market's rotation between gaining and losing points. According to the "Price Action" analysis method for VN30, we have 13 stocks showing buy signals, 07 stocks showing sell signals, and 10 stocks showing sideways signals. HDB, VHM, STB, VIC, VJC, FPT, TPB, VRE, VCB, POW, PLX... show positive signals. According to quantitative statistics, with today's pattern, in the next trading session, the VN-Index has a 50% probability of declining and a 35.29% probability of the closing price being higher than the opening price. Statistics show that the index will trade indecisively on the next day. Support is at the 1,018 point region and resistance is at the 1,100 point region.
