Smart Invest Securities (AAS): Operating revenue increased by 64% in the first half of the year

AAS leaders attend the conference of the Vietnam Bond Market Association Thus, accumulated in the first 6 months of the year, AAS achieved revenue of over 644.8 billion VND and pre-tax profit of over 259 billion VND. It is estimated that in the first 6 months, AAS completed over 50% of its after-tax profit plan of 480 billion VND, an increase of 27% compared to 2021. All business segments of AAS grew and contributed well to the overall revenue. In particular, bond investment continued to be the main contributor to AAS’s business results. The solid performance of the bond investment business segment serves as a buffer for AAS to strongly develop its securities brokerage segment in an efficient manner, without being affected by short-term fluctuations in the stock market regarding liquidity and price trends. According to the plan, AAS will pay a 50% stock dividend and offer 80 million shares to existing shareholders at a 1:1 ratio, meaning shareholders owning 1 share will receive 1 new share at a price of 10,000 VND. In addition, AAS plans to privately issue 300 million shares to strategic investors. The charter capital after the above issuances is expected to increase to 5,000 billion VND, with a large proportion allocated to bond investment activities, followed by the development of brokerage and financial services for customers according to the roadmap.
