The VN-Index closed the trading session forming a “White Candle” pattern. Trading volume decreased but remained around the 20-day average. Looking at individual stocks, this was not necessarily a negative trading day because stocks that increased in price saw an increase in trading volume, while stocks that decreased in price saw a decrease in trading volume. Additionally, most small-cap stocks hit their ceiling early and stopped trading.

Key points to note: (i) RSI(14) set a high since April 12, 2022, indicating good market momentum, although short-term selling pressure is currently increasing due to rising profit-taking demand. When the price has not surpassed its peak but RSI(14) has, it is often an early technical warning signal. (ii) The market is balanced and differentiated, with stocks showing good business results often increasing sharply, such as the fish group, warehousing and transportation group, and speculative phenomena are also starting to appear in the small-cap group.

According to the “Price Action” analysis method for VN30, we have 21 stocks giving buy signals, 03 stocks giving sell signals, and 06 stocks giving neutral signals. Overall, the VN30 group had a good trading pattern today (part of the reason foreign investors are net buying this group).
