Some important notes:
– FPT continued to be the focus of net selling in yesterday’s session, with a value of over 1,000 billion VND. During the day, rumors emerged that Dragon Capital’s VEIL fund might close after information about a conditional 100% tender offer. Although VEIL clarified at the end of the session that this was not a liquidation activity, the selling pressure actually still mainly came from these funds.
– The index continued to decline, with a rather negative short-term trend due to strong selling pressure from the banking group, FPT, and MWG. The bright spot was the VINCOM group, which saw less-than-expected correction and even recovered early.
– Additionally, selling pressure was not too strong in the mid-cap and small-cap groups; even the public investment group with VCG saw a price increase. Another positive sign is that stocks with good business prospects like DC4, MSH are reacting against the market trend, with supply gradually narrowing.
