Am I required to hold the covered warrant until the expiration date?

    icon

    Not at all.

Similar to an underlying security, you can freely sell it on the stock exchange through your AAS securities account during the holding period. (Note that short selling is not permitted.)

Can covered warrants be suspended from trading?

    icon

Trading may be suspended in the following situations:

    • The covered warrant’s underlying security is temporarily suspended from trading.
    • The trading or clearing system experiences a breakdown, or in cases of force majeure such as natural disasters or floods.
    • The HoSE deems it necessary to protect investors.

How can I trade covered warrants?

    icon

There are two ways for clients to trade covered warrants:

    1. Subscribe to buy when AAS offers them on the primary market (right after the Securities Commission issues the registration certificate for the offering).
    2. Buy directly on the secondary market (after the covered warrants are listed on the Stock Exchange).
